How does Invisalign work?

Invisalign are clear, near invisible braces. they use gentle forces to strengthen your teeth without the need to use traditional metal braces. How does Invisalign work? Invisalign Braces are a series of computer generated aligners that are tailor-made for you. By changing aligners every week, your teeth will gradually move into the correct alignment. You can easily remove Invisalign Braces at any time to allow you to brush your teeth and eat as normal.

How does Invisalign work?

Invisalign works by using a series of clear, removable aligners to gradually move your teeth into place. Here’s a simple breakdown of how it works:

  1. Consultation and Plan: Your dentist or orthodontist will start by taking digital scans or impressions of your teeth. This helps them design a custom treatment plan that shows how your teeth will shift over time.

  2. Custom Aligners: Based on this plan, a set of clear plastic aligners is made just for you. Each aligner is a little different, gently pushing your teeth closer to their final position.

  3. Wearing the Aligners: You’ll wear each aligner for about 1-2 weeks, around 20-22 hours a day. They’re easy to take out when you eat or brush your teeth, but you’ll need to keep them on most of the time to stay on track.

  4. Check-ups: You’ll have regular appointments to monitor your progress and pick up your next sets of aligners. Sometimes, small tweaks will be made to keep things moving smoothly.

  5. Finishing Up: Once you’ve gone through all the aligners and your teeth are where they should be, you’ll probably wear a retainer to keep them in place.

Invisalign is popular because it’s almost invisible, more comfortable than braces, and fits easily into your daily routine.
