David Cronin
DoctorDr. Cronin graduated from UCC Dental School in 2005. After graduating, he worked in private practice in Edinburgh. In 2008, after a period of travel, Dr Cronin returned to Ireland to work in Dublin in private practice. In 2015, Dr. Cronin returned to Cork and in 2017 took over Cronin Dental refurbishing and rebranding it “Cronin Dental Studio’’.
Dr Cronin is focused on providing the highest standards in dentistry in a relaxed and informal setting. Dr Cronin regularly attends courses in both general and cosmetic dentistry across Ireland and the U.K. He has completed implant training in The Institute of Dentistry in Mexico City. Dr Cronin more recently completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Orthodontics in London under the direct tutelage of Dr Mohammed Almuzian, world renowned Specialist Orthodontist and was awarded a distinction. His constant commitment to professional training ensures the latest innovations and most up to date treatments can be provided to all of his patients, to the highest standard.
In his spare time, David enjoys songwriting, recording and travel. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys spending time with his wife Kate and their three boys Charlie, Cillian, and Hugh.
Joanna Dworniczak
Dental NurseJoanna joined the CDS team in 2016. Joanna has fast become a hit with our dental patients due to her professional caring approach, and she is particularly great when dealing with nervous patients. Joanna is highly skilled and efficient in dealing with the day to day operations of the practice. Outside of her dental work, Joanna enjoys walking, cycling and spending time with her family. We are delighted to have Joanna on board our CDS team.
Teresa Venables
Dental ReceptionistTeresa joined the team in 2023 to work at dental nursing and reception duties. Teresa has excellent patient communication skills and tackles all aspects of her job with the utmost professionalism. Teresa is a great team player and we are proud to have her on board as part of the dental team. In her spare time, Teresa enjoys baking, and playing Pitch & Putt and spending time with her family.
